These are shibori + sashiko hand woven wall hanging / tapestry / weaving.
They were hand made using a fabric piece that was indigo dyed by me then embroidered in the Japanese style sashiko/ Boro that's why they are named Shimal, which translates to sisters in Japanese.
The weaving was done with acrylic white yarn and a handmade indigo dyed yarn from Epicurus on Etsy.

They hang from a natural branch that was cleaned and sealed for durability. A natural cord is on top for easy hanging. There are three available number by photo appearance, here are their specifics:

1. The sashiko was done in four different threads starting with white and progressing to blue. The weaving was done with acrylic white yarn and a indigo dyed yarn. It has an angle side fringe, a tassel and a galvanized metal feather for added accent. Measures approximately 5 x 12 inches including the bottom fringe.

2. The sashiko was done in a squared pattern in white thread. The weaving was done with acrylic white yarn and indigo dyed yarn. Measures approximately 5 x 18 inches including the bottom fringe.

3. The sashiko was done in a repetitive pattern with white thread. The weaving was done with acrylic off white/ ivory yarn and indigo dyed yarn. Measures 5 x 13 inches including the bottom fringe.
